Communication is the basis of co-operation – therefore, communication solutions often determine how efficiently an organisation functions.
In turn, the efficiency of communication depends on how easy and natural it is to use different options of information technology without information exchange itself becoming the core business, rather it should support the main processes.
Communication, i.e. exchange of information, in a modern organisation is becoming more and more intensive, and is divided between different channels. It would be short-sighted to speak separately about telephone or e-mail solution – there are now considerably more channels for exchange of information, and borders between different channels are becoming ever hazier. E-mail is used for exchanging short messages; Instant Messaging application is used for sending a file; text messages are used for answering a received e-mail or a report of a missed call on e-mail, etc.
Besides changing views and approaches, technological change also has to take place – considering voice telephony which is very often overlooked as part of a company’s IT infrastructure. Besides saving on expenditure, VoIP technology offers good options for integration with other communication channels. The effect of integration can often exceed direct savings on communication costs which accompany the use of VoIP technology one way or another.
Our main partner in contemporary voice telephony technology is innovaphone. Innovaphone technology is a wonderful example of combining the operational ability of traditional voice telephony and new opportunities provided by VoIP technology.f Thanks to specially designed hardware, the system has very good operational ability, is secure and energy-saving. Up to this day, the last aspect has not been considered very important, but the energy need of an innovaphone solution is so drastically different from that of others that savings on energy could amount to thousands of euros a year, depending on the size of a solution.
Often, it is not wise to copy the whole old solution on new technology as the first step. Rather, considering modern opportunities, one should review the needs and decide which options would benefit the most after being introduced.

1. Telephone solutions based on innovaphone VoIP technology These are the so-called classical IP telephone switchboard solutions which might have a contact with the communication operator by using ISDN or already VoIP technology, or use them both in parallel. Thanks to this last option, it is possible to integrate the existing solution within an organisation with the new one, avoiding the complete immediate change of the solution.
Besides guaranteeing operational ability, IP telephone switchboard solutions based on innovaphone technology ensure low running ownership costs by being energy-saving, easy to manage and standardised, which guarantees a choice of future developments.

2. Call centre solutions based on Voxtron In case your organisation needs more than having the function of telephone switchboard system, it is possible to additionally introduce call centre software which meets all the requirements for a professional call centre. Both in terms of statistics and the served channels (call, e-mail, fax, text messaging, chat).
As Voxtron software is independent of telephone switchboard platform, then innovaphone solution is not an absolute prerequisite for its introduction. Nevertheless, VoIP technology simplifies introduction, and adds extra options.

3. CTI solutions based on Estos Often, it might be necessary and beneficial to connect the telephone system with a computer. After creating such “CTI connection”, you can dial numbers by a mouse click from the computer, gather information about calls easily on a computer, add notes or reminders on returning a call to received or dialled calls, get information about missed calls on e-mail, keep an eye on the colleagues’ status updates, etc.

4. MS Office Communication Server 2007 and MS Lync Server 2010 solutions If you need a perfect Unified Communication solution and a solution for remote meetings and video conferences, MS Lync Server 2010 is the one. This solution integrates superbly with other Microsoft products (Exchange, SharePoint, Office), and also the IP telephone switchboard platform of innovaphone. The solution can be introduced stage by stage, gradually adopting all the functions.

5. Telephone solutions as full service (centrex) If your demands for the functions, developments and integration of a communication solution are not very high, we – in co-operation with the Estonian mobile operator Elisa – provide centrex-based telephone solutions with a monthly fee. In this case, your organisation does not need to invest in purchasing a solution; rather you pay a monthly fee, depending on the number of users and functions used.
